MART will support, foster, and promote the interests of rural telecommunications providers in Minnesota by:

Representing rural telecommunications providers and their customers before the Minnesota Legislature, Minnesota Regulators, other agencies at the state level, and Congress and Federal agencies.

Fostering the image of the rural telecommunications providers in Minnesota as leaders in providing their customers with advanced telecommunications services through state-of-the art technologies.

Positioning the rural telecommunications providers in Minnesota so that their customers can take full advantage of the competitive telecommunications marketplace.

Providing educational opportunities for the rural telecommunications providers in Minnesota to keep them current on important issues and technologies.

Working with individual companies, organizations, and institutions, whenever feasible, to accomplish its mission.
